A dedicated citizen, John Floyd has served the Municipality for Port Hope in a number of capacities, most notably as Reeve in the early 1990s and later a member of town council. His long and successful political career has built him solid community support.

John has also been a member of the Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce, director to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and has served on the Port Hope Police Services Board as well as the Federal Government Task Force investigating methods of storing radioactive waste.

Named after his granddaughter, Brier, this waterfront condominium project has been a longtime dream of John's. Located just steps away from the Sandy white beaches of Lake Ontario, Brier's View will not only enhance prime Port Hope property, but will also add further class and character to a town he's called home for 25 years.
